This website is designed for residents of Vancouver-Kensington concerned about provincial government policies but it may also interest those in other ridings wanting to set up a similar site.

This website has the e-mail, street address, and phone number of our MLA, and a map of the riding's boundaries. Please use the website to express your concerns. Consider joining one of the action groups listed, or start your own group to attract other supporters.

GROUPS

This website might be useful for your efforts at local lobbying and liaison. Some members of your group who are resident in this riding might be willing to act as a focus for attracting support from more V-K residents, and then taking concerns directly to our MLA. These concerns might be the general policy direction of the government, or particular cases of hardship which government policies have caused. Once several interest groups are listed on the website, contact between them could lead to other steps such as calling for a public meeting or other political organizing.

While this website is for one riding only, let's hope volunteers will operate similar sites in other electoral districts. Let's share our experience in meeting with MLA's and keeping the pressure on them.
