This organization promotes 40+ different languages in BC. They have language schools available after public school hours for people of all ages. This association also offers courses to help improve the skills of language teachers. Primary funding comes from the Ministry Responsible for Multiculturalism. Career Preparation Program: the goal of this program is to match students in grade 11 &12 with organizations in the community to help in the role of translator. The program seeks to promote the value of international/heritage languages and acknowledge and validate students who are proficient in a language other than English or French (commitment is 40 hours total).
