The overall goals of the Vietnamese Seniors Outreach Program are designed to: a) reach out to the Vietnamese seniors, b) assist them to lead healthy and independent lives and c) facilitate the process of integration into the larger and diverse community in a collaborative and integrated approach. Activities include: Self-learning, swimming, card games, social times, general check-ups, educational sessions, bingo and videos. Field trips take place once every month. Other activities include form filling, accessing social services, counselling etc. Meetings take place in the Seniors Lounge at the Brittania Community Centre.
