Description:
Provides information, assistance and referrals for new immigrants. Promotes community development by supporting community groups and matching individuals with similar needs in order to resolve specific problems. Develops new groups and programs based on new immigrants' needs. Provides orientation and cross-cultural counselling, community leadership, and cross-cultural awareness training. Promotes equality and full participation of minorities in Canadian society through self-help, volunteerism and education. No fee for service.
