Pd-VI is a discussion and support list for participants in the Pd-Gem workshops at Video-In Studios and for the general community of Pd users in the Vancouver area. It was initiated on September 6, 2005 in advance of the first Pd-VI workshops.

Pd (pure-data) is a cross-platform graphical programming environment for audio, video, graphics and robotics similar to Max-MSP-Jitter. Pd is free open-source software, released under a modified BSD license, written by Miller Puckette with the help of developers around the world.
