The Volunteer BC list is a listserv intended to share information, be a resource and promote volunteerism for those interested in volunteer issues and activities.

Volunteer BC is a leader in promoting the value and impact of volunteering:

- Building capacity within Volunteer Centres and voluntary organizations to support volunteers.
- Convening key stakeholders at the provincial level around issues related to  volunteeering.
- Advocating for excellence in volunteerism and volunteers.
- Promoting the value and impact of volunteering.
- Building a mechanism for disseminating information between government and the voluntary sector.
